Pig breeding is based on PIC (Pig Improvement Company) genetic basis with application of top-of-the-line technologies, with expert management and highly trained and educated employees. The feeding takes place according to the principle of controlled traceability, because all the fodder is prepared from raw materials originating from own production. In our farms we guarantee high health status which is the result of strict adherence and implementation of bio-security measures in all stages of the production process, as well as in movement of persons and goods.

Belje is the first company with the status of Breeding Association in the Republic of Croatia for PIC breeding program in pig breeding. Semen production according to PIC program takes place in accordance with the most demanding principles. 

Belje Svinjogojstvo (Pig Breeding), with its 10 farms, is the biggest manufacturer of pork in Croatia, and the award USPJEŠNI STOČAR (Successful Cattle Breeder) for the biggest manufacturer of pork confirms it. There are plans for further expansion of production, because 4 more pig breeding farms are currently being built.
