Farms for the fattening of young cattle are located in the continental part of the Republic of Croatia, in 4 counties: Osječko-baranjska, Sisačko-moslovačka, Vukovarsko- srijemska and Zagrebačka county. The biggest farm is Poljanski lug, near Ivanić grad, with total capacity of 2,000 head.
