The Baranja terroir provides Graševina, the best known white wine in Croatia, recognizable properties, wich are at the same time universally acceptable, but also carry a clear regional identity.
Apart from premium white wines, Podrumi Belje also produces premium red wines. So this year they triumphed in Decanter World Wine Awards in London with its premium wine Merlot 2008, first won the gold medal and then was elected among the gold-winning wines and won a regional trophy. Merlot has conquered the world with deep ruby color, strong taste and fruity scent with a touch on the cooked fruit and marmalade. The wine is in excellent condition and ready for aging.
