A valuable donation in computers and equipment by Belje was presented on the press conference in the 1st high school in Beli Manastir.
On the press conference in the First high school in Beli Manastir, held on 25 October 2007, the school activities were presented, as well as the plans and goals for this and the following school year. On that occasion, Belje presented a valuable donation in computers and equipment given to the school.
The First high school in Beli Manastir and Belje have been working together successfully with mutual satisfaction for a number of years. In Belje Remont and Machinery and equipment factory there are school premises with workshops, and teachers and students of the school use Belje machines and workshops in teaching. Students being trained for vocational jobs for machinist and locksmith have their practical instruction in Belje Machinery and equipment factory.
The headmaster of the First high school in Beli Manastir, Mr Marko Ilijašev pointed out that the cooperation between Belje and the school has a 50 year long tradition, which continues for the benefit of the school, its students, parents and the management of Belje. The best example of this cooperation are the 10 new computers by which Belje has provided better quality of teaching and made the latest achievements of schooling practice readily available to students.
Mr Ivica Starčević, General Manager of Belje Remont and Mr Stjepan Kalčić, General Manager of Machinery and equipment factory pointed out that this donation of Belje is an investment in young manpower who is necessary for the further development of the region and Belje which is the biggest industry in the Baranja region.
