The wine evaluation at the Wine industry and wine growing fair Slavin in Orahovica, which was held from 13 -15 March brought new medals and awards to Belje. Out of eight samples sent for the evaluation, six wines from Belje winery got the gold medal. These were: Premium Grashevina, vintage 2006 and 2007, Predicate Grashevina, vintage 2006, Goldberg Grashevina 2006, as well as Predicate Chardonnay 2006, and Chardonnay Goldberg 2006. Supreme quality wines Pinot Grey, vintage 2006 and Chardonnay, vintage 2007 got the silver medal.
The Belje white wines also got the gold diplomas at the traditional wine evaluation at this year’s GAST fair, which was held in Split from 5-9 March 2008. The awarded wines were Predicate Chardonnay, vintage 2006, Grashevina 2007 and Chardonnay 2007.
These medals and diplomas prove the extraordinary quality of the Belje wines, which has been recognized as such on the market. These medals justify the Belje advertising slogan: Wines of the Belje Winery – the recognized quality.
