Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, high quality wines of Belje Wine cellars , have won gold medals at the world evaluation of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon held recently in Bergamo, Italy.
Wine evaluation under the title of Emotions of the World – Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon together has been held for the 5th consecutive year and it is the first evaluation which is fully focused on wines based on Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Some two hundred samples from all over the world were evaluated by a 65-member jury, among which were some of the most eminent world wine journalists.
High prizes received in Bergamo and past awards for Belje red wines received at GAST, Slavin and the Novi Sad Fair only confirm that Belje Wine cellars is among the top red wine producers in the continental Croatia and that both these wines, with their characteristics and specificity, can satisfy even the most fastidious red wine admirers.
