Environmental protection and conservation of biological balance, harmonized relationship between production of plant material and cattle breeding, are the basic principles of agricultural production in Belje. Constant advances in quality and business operations with an aim to realize long term strategy involves integration of management systems:

  • ISO 14001: 2004 – environmental management system
  • ISO 9001:2000 – quality management system
  • OHSAS 18001:1999 – occupational health and safety management
  • HACCP system – hazard analysis and critical control points system
  • GLOBALGAP – safety and quality control system in agricultural production

By applying these business standards Belje is showing its orientation toward quality as well as a level of environmental awareness and determination to consistently apply and implement an eco-friendly corporate culture and the principles of sustained development.

By cultivation, use and investment in agricultural land we are also realizing positive social goals by encouraging the development of the region in various areas of activity.

By controlled production of raw materials on 20.000 ha of arable land we grow quality fodder which is the basis for cattle breeding in our farms. Constant quality control systems guarantee top quality meat and milk from the farms of Belje, used to make well-known products of Belje food industry (flour, cheeses, cured meat products, wine), which is how we accomplish traceability of products from the field to your table.
