The high nutritional value of Barany kulen lies in the richness in vitamins and minerals, while the leg of pork meat used to produce it is rich in high value protein, and kulen is also a source of Selenium, Zink, vitamin C and group B vitamins. This is why only four slices of Baranya kulen contain 50 percent of recommended daily allowance (RDA) for vitamin C and as much as 100 percent of RDA for vitamin B.
