Five centuries ago, Belje Wine Cellar was dug into the hill in the centre of modern-day Baranja village Kneževi Vinogradi. Behind its heavy door, this fantastic edifice hides three levels of long halls, filled with barrels made of the finest Slavonian oak.

Belje Wine Cellar is the biggest and the most impressive wine cellar in Baranja, but also in the whole region, where the word for cellar, “gator”, signifies a facility dug into the side of a hill. Guided tours of the cellar are organized every hour, both for groups and for individual guests.
